Freedom in “The Veldt” & “Harrison Bergeron”

Class C presents their literature class’s final project. Through the “Reporting Live” project, class C explores the theme of freedom in Ray Bradbury‘s “The Veldt” and Kurt Vonnegut‘s “Harrison Bergeron.” (Parts 1 & 2)

Reporting Live! project guidelines: You have read a exemplary collection of interesting stories this term and many of them share similar themes. It is now your job to bring the stories to life by presenting the important themes by showing the stories as “events” and in a newscast.

  1. Your portrayal has made me realize that I must re-read Kurt Vonnegut and Ray Bradbury, whom I haven’t read in many years. Thank you for re-introducing me to these two great science fiction writers.
